EAGO’s 7 Series combines minimalist design with a comprehensive range of features. Operation is via a Gecko touchscreen display. The Gecko IN.MIX controls the lighting of the skirt, jets and control elements. The Extreme version includes, amongst other things, automatic salt-water disinfection and a Wi-Fi module as part of its extended features. Another distinctive feature is the corner elements, which are finished in the same acrylic colour as the tub.

The insulation concept also utilises the waste heat from the pumps to reduce heat loss. The Classic models are optionally available as the extensively equipped ‘Extreme’ version, featuring additional massage and comfort functions.

Technology and Features
Robust construction & design
EAGO outdoor hot tubs combine a sturdy construction with a clean, modern design. The glass-fibre-reinforced acrylic tub is supported by a robust aluminium frame and is designed for long-term outdoor use. In the IN-7xx series, the acrylic extends over the outer corners, making it a visible part of the design. In the IN-8xx series, the outer corner of the acrylic tub is flush with the skirting. This creates a particularly clean, linear look. The lighting is also integrated into the overall design. Depending on the model, LEDs illuminate the water and other areas of the pool. Depending on the specification, additional illuminated elements and designer jets may be included.
Automatic water treatment
EAGO models come fitted as standard with an ozone system for water treatment. If you wish to reduce the effort involved in regular water maintenance, you can also fit the pool with an automatic salt-water disinfection system. This involves adding salt to the water, from which the system automatically generates the required amount of bromine for disinfection. The bromine reacts with organic contaminants and is subsequently converted back into salt. This cycle runs largely automatically and significantly reduces the effort required for monitoring and manual dosing. However, water parameters and filters should still be checked and cleaned regularly.
For year-round use
A permanently installed hot tub can be used at any time of year. Particularly during the colder months, thermal insulation and a cover play an important role in reducing heat loss. Actual energy consumption depends on several factors. Outside temperature, desired water temperature, location and frequency of use all have a significant influence. Anyone who uses their EAGO hot tub regularly, even in winter, should ensure the cover is kept closed at all times when not in use.
Intuitive controls and smart functions
Our hot tubs are fitted with control electronics from Gecko. Depending on the model, operation is via a colour display or, on the higher-end models, via a touchscreen. Preset programmes simplify operation and can be adapted to suit personal usage habits. Most models come with a web module as standard. This allows key functions to be controlled via a smartphone or tablet. On request, the web module also enables remote maintenance, so that settings and technical functions can be checked remotely. Depending on the specification, an audio system is also available.
Buying an outdoor hot tub – what matters
The right size and features
Anyone planning to install a hot tub in their garden or on their patio should consider the design, price, size and massage jets. It is crucial that the features and location are suited to how the hot tub will be used. Water maintenance, running costs and winter use should also be taken into account. Consider how many people you’d like to use the spa with. For couples, a more compact model with spacious seating or lounging areas may be ideal. Larger models offer more space for family and friends. The internal layout is also important: seating and lounging areas, as well as the arrangement of the massage jets, vary depending on the model. More features aren’t automatically better – what matters is which functions you actually use.
The right location
A level, stable and sufficiently load-bearing surface is required for installation. Accessibility for delivery, necessary connections and future access to the technical components should also be considered at an early stage. When installing on a terrace, particular attention must be paid to the total weight of the filled pool. If in doubt, the load-bearing capacity should be professionally assessed in advance. User comfort also plays a role in choosing the location. A short distance from the house, sufficient privacy and a sheltered location are particularly advantageous if the pool is used regularly. You should also allow for sufficient space so that the equipment remains easily accessible for maintenance and servicing.
Electricity costs in winter
An EAGO outdoor hot tub can also be used during the colder months. It is particularly important in winter to keep heat loss to a minimum. The cover should therefore remain closed when the spa is not in use, as a significant amount of heat can be lost through the water’s surface. The actual electricity consumption depends on various factors. The outside temperature, the set water temperature, the location and how often the spa is used all have a significant influence. How often and for how long the pool is left running also affects energy consumption. A general consumption figure is therefore not very meaningful.
