Canadian hemlock Hemlock wood (lat. Tsuga canadensis), also called Canadian hemlock, offers many advantages for a cozy sauna. A light brown, warm color tone, as well as the smooth wood structure with brownish bark inclusions result in a valuable appearance. Hemlock is a coniferous wood and has no pores, which leads to a straight and therefore high-quality overall impression of the sauna cabin. The hemlock belongs to the medium-weight woods and offers knot-free lengths are up to 30 meters. The wood is very well suited for sauna construction, as it is particularly durable, low in resin and resistant to moisture, and is also very easy to work with. In addition, it does not warp and gives off heat slowly and evenly. The wood has a light, relaxing scent.
The sauna control unit The sauna control unit is the heart and thus the control center of any sauna. We offer only sauna controls from the world leader Harvia, as well as from EOS (which are manufactured in Germany). Depending on your budget and application, you can choose between an entry-level control unit and a luxury model. Thus, with the right controller and the right stove, commercial use is also possible without any problems. As a special feature, some controllers also offer remote control of the sauna via WIFI. This allows you to control your sauna from anywhere in the world via app using your phone or tablet. If you have implemented a smart home via KNX, then your sauna can also be integrated when using the Emotec controller from EOS via an optionally available KNX module.
